Last year I enjoyed a great date night out at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta. We parked free (on the street) two blocks away and walked up to the Arts Center for a great performance. Did I mention that the whole thing was FREE! Once a year you get a chance to attend live theater and find out what you’ve been missing.

This year’s Free Ticket day is Oct 14th, so put that in your calender and set a reminder to go online and grab those seats!
Based on my poor memory there were 5 or 6 theatres in Atlanta offering tickets, and several show times and dates as well. There’s going to be something you’ll enjoy, and so will your S.O.
One bit of advice from me is to arrive early if you’re going into a tough parking area and find a good free spot! Spend the savings on a fab dinner out, a gourmet picnic from Alon’s or your own special place;-)
Be ready to act quickly as these tickets are released online that day only and they go quickly. Once you find the one you want grab it and don’t ask questions. This is one great chance during a tough economic time and Ill bet the tickets disappear at a record setting pace.
