Changes to the LinkedIn platform have made it far more powerful than the corp. resume that it started out being.

There are many ways to interconnect you social sites and accounts these days and linkedin is the real gorilla in the business world. So, I’ve been working on my profile lately and connecting to more folks and have really found some benefit. As of today my profile just hit 100%!. Yeah me. ;-)

Linkedin can and should be setup to function like a business tool. This is like attending a virtual trade show where you’re intermingling with other business people. Dress, speech and behavior must be kept professional and business related or you’ll come off looking like a goofball.

My favorite feature here is in the Groups. Find and join groups that are in your area of interest and expertise and begin interacting with others there. This is the best opportunity you’ll have to learn more and connect with people that can be your customers or connection to customers
